Note: This service is offered mainly to companies in and around West Sussex, UK but if you would like us to quote for some work, we would more than pleased to do so.

Could You Use a Little Extra Capacity ?

Do you ever need small amounts of tube bent or pipe threaded in a hurry?  Well, BX Plant in Lavant, Chichester are now able to offer two new services which will help you out when needed - tube bending and pipe threading.

Tube Bending

We offer a complete service including sourcing material at competitive prices, bending to your requirements, fabricating if necessary and delivering to your works. We offer a rapid service for short or long runs.

Our new microprocessor controlled bending machine is capable of bending:

  • round tube up to 50mm (2" OD)
  • bending radius 225mm (8-3/4") - max
  • round solid bar up to 28mm (1-1/8")
  • bending radius 10mm (3/8") - min

Pipe Threading

Again we are able to offer a complete service of sourcing material, cutting to length, deburring, threading and delivering to your works or site. We are also able to offer an on-site threading service.

Our new pipe threading machine is capable of:

  • <>pipe (including plastic coated): 6 - 50mm (1/4" - 2")
  • bolts: 6 - 50mm (1/4" - 2")
  • external threads: tapered, parallel, conduit and bolt
  • thread lengths: tapered - standard; cylindrical and bolts - 165mm to unlimited
