The NEW BELSPRAY direct-from-drum sprayer for bitumen emulsion or concrete cure material has been designed to enable one person to lift a full 205 litre drum on to the chassis.   Another new feature is the pneumatic tyred castor wheel at the back which makes moving the sprayer even easier.   This model is available with a choice of petrol engine or diesel powered.

Technical Information: BXBW / BXBD for bitumen emulsion

Chassis

Strong Arm drum mover chassis comprising:
     Frame: tube, 3mm wall thickness.
     Wheels: 2 No 16x4 pneumatic with brake fitted.
     Castor: swivel castor, 260mm x 85mm
     Other feature: safety catch fitted to handle.

Safe working load:
     Standard 205 litre steel drum;           Max. weight: 300kg.

Pump/ Plumbing

Gear type pump with relief valve set at 65 psi
A filter is fitted on the inlet plumbing.
An overload valve is fitted on the outlet plumbing set at 65 psi.

Engine: Petrol (BXBW) Briggs & Stratton engine with 6:1 reduction gear box direct coupled to pump.
Alternative petrol engines: Honda GX120HX or Robin EY120
Engine: Diesel (BXBD) Hatz IB20-X diesel engine with 6:1 reduction gear box direct coupled to pump.

Suction pipe

Suction pipe with strainer; 1.2 metres long fitted with drum cap.
Suction hose, 25mm flexible hose; 1.8 metres long.

Delivery hose

Oil delivery hose; 5 metres x 13mm dia bore

Spray lance

Spray lance with control valve; 13mm dia bore x 2 metres with handle complete with brass spray jet.

Rate of spray 20 to 25 litres per minute depending on engine speed.
Bitumen emulsion Cold emulsion: Grade K1.40 or K1.60.
These sprayers are not suitable for pumping cold K1-70. Some customers have used them for spraying warm K1.70 (80 degrees Centigrade).
Cut back bitumen emulsion can also be used.

Suction hose, 2 x 13mm oil delivery hose; each 1.8 metres long.

Delivery hose

Oil delivery hose; 5 metres x 13mm dia bore

Spray lance

Spray lance with control valve; 10mm dia bore x 3 metres with handle complete with brass spray jet.

Rate of spray 20 to 25 litres per minute depending on engine speed.
Concrete Cure Material Aluminium based concrete cure material
