The BELSPRAY direct-from-drum sprayer for bitumen emulsion or concrete cure material is available as a pump unit which can be used from the back of a pick up truck or mounted on a road roller.   The pump unit has a 30m hose as standard and is finished in silver hammer stove enamel.

Technical Information: BSBP for bitumen emulsion

Chassis

Tubular frame with wire mesh cover fitted and 4 No rubber feet.

Pump

Gear type pump with relief valve set at 65 psi.

Plumbing A filter is fitted on the inlet plumbing.
An overload valve is fitted on the outlet plumbing set at 65 psi.
Engine: Petrol (BSBP) Briggs & Stratton engine with 6:1 reduction gear box direct coupled to pump.
Alternative petrol engines offered:   Honda GX120HX or Robin EY120

Suction pipe / hose

Suction pipe 1.2 metres long with strainer
Suction hose, 25mm flexible hose; 1.8 metres long.

Delivery hose

Oil delivery hose; 30 metres x 13mm dia bore

Spray lance

Spray lance with control valve; 13mm dia bore x 2 metres with handle complete with brass spray jet.

Rate of spray 20 to 25 litres per minute depending on engine speed.
Bitumen emulsion Cold emulsion: Grade K1.40 or K1.60
These sprayers are not suitable for pumping cold K1.70. Some customers have used them for spraying warm K1.70 (80 degrees Centigrade).
Cut back bitumen emulsion can also be used.

Albany crown gear type pump with relief valve set at 65 psi.

Plumbing

A filter is fitted on the inlet plumbing.
A three-way valve is fitted on the outlet plumbing to allow for re-circulation and agitation of the material in the drum.

Engine: Petrol (BSCP)

Briggs & Stratton engine with 6:1 reduction gear box direct coupled to pump. Alternative petrol engines offered:  Honda GX120HX or Robin EY120

Suction pipe

Duplex suction pipe 1 metre long fitted with 8mm agitator jet..
Suction hose, 2 x 13mm oil delivery hose; each 1.8 metres long.

Delivery hose

Oil delivery hose; 5 metres x 13mm dia bore.

Spray lance

Spray lance, 10mm dia bore x 3 metres with handle complete with brass spray jet.

Rate of spray

20 to 25 litres per minute depending on engine speed.

Concrete Cure Material

Aluminium based concrete cure material.
